> I am working with Taylor on a custom home design. She has been wonderful to work with. I always thought it would be intimidating to work with a designer, but I have been proved wrong. My project is almost complete, but I hope to remain in touch with Taylor and work with her in the future.

**★★★★★ — Corey Neller, March 2017**

> Regardless of whether the project is big or small, Taylor is able to connect to our design style in a way that is practical for our family. I highly recommend Taylor for a remodel or redesign!

**★★★★★ — B Wald, March 2017**

> Taylor is exceptional! She has worked with us since we began building our dream home last year! She always listens to our ideas and somehow finds a way to bring it all together! We can be very indecisive, and she has always been very patient with us as well as respectful of our budget. She brings fresh and unique ideas, but also works hard to make OUR vision come life! I couldn't be more pleased with the work she has done, and I continue to work with her!

**★★★★★ — gereemorton, July 2015**

> Taylor has been amazing to work with. She took the time to meet and get a feel for my personality and incorporate that in all her designs for our home. Our home feels like something I would put together if I had the talent and the time. She has taken all the stress out of getting our new home decorated and I am able to focus on the tasks of day to day life. I highly recommend Taylor for all your decorating needs!

> Complete living room re-do with custom beams, distressed paint finishes on woodwork, custom draperies and upholstery, custom furniture and rug. Natalie is very easy to work with, she seemed to know my exact taste in everything we did!

**★★★★★ — jfinch1110, Jan. 2013**

## Community Q&A

**Q: What paint color is the island?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: These are custom cabinetry and prefinished by the manufacturer. A close color would be sherwin Williams cyberspace.

**Q: Where did you get the tub faucet?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Vintage tub and bath

**Q: love the dinning table. where is it from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This table was custom built for this home. If you are looking for this style, give us a call and we can give you more information.

**Q: Sofa table** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me who the maker is of the sofa table? The white one behind the couch?

A: We apologize for the delayed reply! The sofa table is made by Noir Furniture

**Q: Furniture layout in living room** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I'm thinking of replacing the fabric couch with a gray leather one. Getting rid of the recliner. I need more seating in my room to fit my family of seven. On the wall with the recliner I don't know if I want two chairs or a loveseat. Floor lamps and tables? The end tables I have right now I like but I feel are a bit short. Any ideas on the coffee table? I have a friend recommend a metal hammered coffee table. I want my furniture to be more mid century modern. Open to any ideas. FYI I did have a couch on the other wall but there just isn't enough room for it. It actually opened up my room to have it in front of the window even though I don't like to block the light. Thanks for your help!!!!!

A: I would do two matching chairs on the wall where the recliner is now with a table between them. I think a round ottoman would be great, can be used for seating as well. If you have small children an upholstered ottoman is a great way to avoid the sharp edges of a coffee table. Another option is two do a sofa with a chaise..this is smaller than a sectional which would be great for your space since its on the smaller side, but it adds a little extra seating. I think you could still add two smaller scale chairs with a table and the ottoman as well.
I do think you need a piece of art above console, something with color, could be an abstract or color block print that works well with the midcentury look.

**Q: Mirrored wall in dining room** *(in Design Dilemma)*

What should I do with the wall!?!

Everyone says to just sheet rock it, but I'm ok with the mirror only because this is a smaller condo. I've seen some ideas on how to improve the mirror.

Below is a pic of the dining room, the attached living room (to get the vibe) and some examples of the direction that I'm leaning towards. The wall has mirrored trim on the seams- any suggestions to get that off if I go with putting trim on?

It wouldn't allow me to attach any pics, my examples are the first comment for the post.

A: One idea that you could do and we have done this before in a dining room. But antiquing the overall mirror and then placing a mirror on top of the existing mirror. Attached is just an example. I like the idea of keeping the mirror because it does allow the space to seem open and also reflects light allowing light to flow throughout the space which is good in smaller spaces
