A: Hi,Thank you for your question and observation! I think because the grout is so minimal on this mosaic its the tile itself paired with the bored around it! This was a unique basket weave compared to the typical that tends to be very square and "boxy" and by giving it a sleek bored it allowed the pattern to really pop out more. This one had more of a curve and the lighter grout does help accentuate it. **Q: Working remotely with a designer** *(in Home Decorating)* I am curious as to people’s experiences working directly with a designer. I’m looking for help picking furnishings (colors,styles and arrangement) for multiple rooms. Has this worked for anyone and do you recommend it? A: I work with a majority of my clients remotely, its great especially when there are conflicting schedules due to work or family obligations! My advice is going with someone with a good rep and you should be just fine and enjoy the process! I also recommend clear communication throughout and deleting any items you discuss that you decide not to go with this way there isn't any misunderstanding between you both (you and your designer). **Q: wall cabinets or no wall cabinets?** *(in Remodeling)* We are looking into renovating the kitchen and trying to design a layout of it. 1\. Should we put a wall cabinet on both side of the hood (please see the first image.)? 2\. Or should we not put a wall cabinet on both side of the hood (please see the second image)? We are afraid that it might look too crowded with the cabinets on both side of the hood as we want to install wood open shelves on both sides of the window. But at the same time, we feel like wasting possible storage space if we don't install them. Thank you in advance for your opinions! A: Most Kitchen Showrooms do a complimentary design for you in order to present you with pricing. I recommend going in one nearest you and discussing your needs for a functional kitchen that may be different from what you are working with now and let them get creative. Communicate that you have been playing with a few ideas but would love some guidance, this will allow you to build a more solid budget for the materials as well! Depending on the cabinet line you go with many different cabinet vendors offer different storage and organization mechanisms, typically the European ones have the most interesting solutions ( i've worked with many American brands and now i work heavily with UK and German brands because they better serve my clients needs creatively). **Q: love the countertop** *(in Photo Questions)* what is it?
