My first project with Keith might have surprised him because my white hair gave away my age.  What woman eighty two wants to build a house on a lot she owns. He didn't roll his eyes, instead listened with interest.  I wanted large windows for natural lighting, vaulted ceilings, open living space on the main floor with angled walls where possible.  He drew a very desirable plan that visitors continue to remark on the creative plan. Keith fulfilled my desires and incorporated views I hadn't  even mentioned.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Help with low roof overhangs.** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Any ideas on how to modify existing roof to get rid of low overhangs without a complete re-roof or home reno? (Trying to modernize a 50's ranch.)

A: Looking back now I see the typo in my original comment.  The correct terminology here would be low pitch "Gable".  Just a point of clarification :-)
