The color depth is achieved by using dye and not stain. final tops coats (3) are in satin oil. **Q: Is the heated floor the same radiant floor mats as can be used elsewhe** *(in Photo Questions)* I have radiant heat thru out my house under the slate tiles but was concerned about putting them under the shower floor? A: The heated floors used in this installation are actually electric. we use a roll system designed for wet installations. The heating element is not a matt but rather a single wire with a vinyl coating. This allows us to install as we need with complete coverage of the floor area. If you are using a hydronic system in your home it would be very easy to add a additional zone for the bath area or shower. **Q: What color is this house? What material did you use? A: The ledge is not part of the vanity it is separate. The ledge is also stone. **Q: Should I buy marble to top this chest?** *(in Polls)* Hi All, I'm in a bit of a dilemma regarding what to do with a blanket chest I'm currently using as a coffee table. I really like the piece, but it's a bit rough and will need some work regardless of which direction I choose. The biggest dilemma is if I should buy a marble slab for the top of it to match the end tables. I only mention this because I can buy a pre-cut slab for around 40 bucks that is a pretty close fit- it is the right width, although the length is two inches shorter than the chest (36 inches vs. 38). The other option is that I could paint the chest (colour undetermined) as it would be easier than stripping or sanding. I could put marble on the top of it regardless of if I paint, but given that my end tables are stained it may look a bit off. Thoughts? A: No marble, As mentioned above, I say paint the chest or replace it. The height of the chest is also a little awkward for me. I think the area would look better with a lower piece, like an ottoman. The addition of marble would be difficult due to the rounded edges on the chest. Additionally, marble is not a good stone for a table that may end up with food or drinks on it. Unless you have a strong tie to chest I would say replace the item. **Q: Where can I find these items** *(in Photo Questions)* A: There are several options for creating this storage solution. We actually just did something like this in conjunction with a Kitchen makeover. Snaidero makes a system like this as does home depot.
