As the busy proprietor of her own company, Katy Sullivan believes in efficiency -- an essential practice for someone always on the go. It's a trait that also manifests itself in her work. Katy's thoughtful approach to design is clean-lined yet approachable, modern yet classic, bold yet sophisticated. She loves to use chic color palettes and surprising pattern combinations but always keep true to her mantra "less is more."

Katy graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.F.A. in textile design then immediately moved to New York City to pursue her life long dream. There she designed for Groundworks a high-end fashion forward division of Lee Jofa, attended Parsons School for Design and founded her interior design firm in 2006. Five years later she relocated her company to Kansas City and almost immediately won "Home of the Year, Best Custom House Silver Award" from KCH&G ($500K-$750K), received a feature in The Kansas City Star and her own home received a pictorial in Small Room Decorating Magazine.

Katy has worked with spaces as small as 450 sq. ft. and up to 5,000+ sq. ft. She believes each project presents its own challenge but the work is always equally exciting. To her, every client and home is unique; the end result should be a reflection of the homeowner's personality -- not the designer’s.

> My husband and I are embarking on significant home addition and remodel.  We are on a tight budget but we were seeking professional expertise to guide our decisions along the way.  Katy is working with us in a consultation role.  Her guidance has been the critical factor in getting some of our initial decisions over the finish line.   She provides pros/ cons and alternative considerations to the variety of choices we are making.  So far this has covered our kitchen cabinetry, flooring, and counter tops.  She has been readily available and responsive to even our small questions.  I am looking forward to working with her on my project and I readily recommend her design expertise.

I know it has been asked before, but I have a barrel ceiling and showed this picture to my lighting company and they are stumped!!
What is the brand or item number? Any info would be helpful!
Does this up and down lighting provide enough lighting for a long hallway without any other light source?

A: Yes, the scones provide enough lighting.  Each sconce is 40 watts and since both top and bottom are exposed you get the full exposure.

A: The client already owned those mirrors.  I am sure Restoration Hardware or Horchow would have something similar.  Good luck!

What is the size ?

A: This exact pendant is no longer available but Robert Abbey Lighting has similar styles.  There are online retailers that sell Robert Abbey.
