We added inside and outside corners for the baseboard. 2 of the doors are pocket doors with glass. When I mentioned the process of cleaning etched glass was not favorable, salesman Jeff Heffinger suggested we consider a white laminate between the panes of glass. It would provide the effect we wanted but the glass itself would be smooth. We knew clear glass was not an option since the door to the master bath would show the toilet. He was right. It is amazing! I took samples of our kitchen cabinet wood, as well as the oak woodwork. My salesman took me out to the warehouse, and we laid out small samples of various types of wood with different stains to see which would match the best. After the choices were made, the total price was calculated, and came in less than the contractor's flooring allowance. So I was able to increase the square footage. This durable flooring is now 7 years old and still looks wonderful. The sales rep was condescending commenting "so you are just some home owner...right?" That got us off on the wrong foot and we almost didn't place any order. When we finally did go against our better judgement and placed our order it was very slow in being filled. The sales rep attributed the slow fill time (2 months to fill a 30 sheet plywood order) to a "break down on the prep tools". When the order finally did arrive there were a considerable number of unacceptable flaws in the finish on several pieces of plywood. The one shining light in our order was the clear finish was extremely high quality. In the end we decided to purchase our plywood locally and finish it ourselves since we had better control over the finish. Also that incredibly long lead time is just unacceptable.
