Also, construction was not completed when promised. He also provided my wife Joyce, who designed the home's interior with valuable suggestions and advice. The house was completed on schedule and on budget. Several years later, after our positive experience, we began a restoration project involving a number of historic stone barns adjacent to our home. The barns were all part of a 120 year old complex that had fallen into considerable ruin. To date Mike McKay has worked with us to design and restore one small stone cottage and is currently converting the old barns into several large homes.
