Our house is over 70 years old and no previous projects were without surprises. Kent, our project manager, managed the surprises so that they never became a problem. We were provided a project timeline and were very pleased with how the accurate the timeline proved to be. We were very happy with the design process. Christy, our designer, provided wonderful suggestions and kept us from being overwhelmed with the choices that a kitchen remodel present. The subcontractors used were very good and Larry Bitterling, the flooring contractor, is without equal! From the moment they first set foot in my house they were total professionals and put my wife and I at ease. We had two and a half baths that had received no extensive work since the house was constructed. We had a complete rip out of vinyl flooring, worn out tub shower enclosures and wall papered walls, and installed all new vanities, appliances, one bath with a tub and the other with a walk in shower, with stone flooring. They were able to translate our less than knowledgeable desires into exactly what we wanted. We were able to review samples in their show room and prior to any work we could see a professional rendition of what our baths were to look like. As a result there were no mid project changes or cost over-runs. The project manager kept me appraised of progress several times a day throughout the project. He managed work to minimize disruption to our daily lives as much as possible and ensured a great cleanup at the end of each day. I knew what to expect every day I came home and most importantly had answers for my wife's hundred and one questions. Hatchett is going to get first shot and any future projects I do and I would probably pay them a little more just for the confidence factor. Daily communication with the project manager was guaranteed and, in fact, occurred. We knew exactly what was to take place each day of the 6 weeks project.
