In January 2021 we hired Seattle Rockery to construct a retaining wall to drain our yard and as a landscaping accent. I have waited until June to review them because I wanted to make sure that the problem of standing water in the the crawlspace that we noticed in June 2020 had been resolved. It worked better than we had hoped. Seattle Rockery built the wall as expected, they incorporated drainage to the curb to direct water off the property, and connected our downspouts the the drainage as well. When they were done with the original project we liked them so much that we asked for additional work that nearly doubled the project. After a little bit of negotiating with other vendors and clients the were able to stay for and complete the extra work. Seattle Rockery are easy to work with and do excellent work. This saved us from getting fined by the city, and tens of thousands of dollars to redo the construction. > During an excruciatingly painful year and a half of permit process, Harry always responded quickly to all of my random questions, and continued to do so before and during the construction. They completed a full demolition of our fence (approximately 25 ft) and old falling apart retaining wall and installed a new one approximately 4ft high made with large mostly "2-man" rocks in only 3 hours with a few guys, several trucks of material and one rock grabbing tool. It was really neat to watch! The 3 guys clearly work well as a team and communicate well--they were very careful to protect the plants in the surrounding area that I cared about as well as the side walk and other public spaces.
