I ordered a sofa with the lead time of eight weeks, nine weeks ago. That wouldn't work for me. However, prior to ordering, I spoke with customer service and was told it would be ready within 4-6 weeks. After a month, I repeatedly reached out and spoke with several different representatives regarding a update. I spoke with and sent several emails to the customer service manager, who responded with absolutely no information. Yesterday, I yet again called customer service and the customer service manager (Andrew) answered and I requested a call from his manager. Today, I received email from Andrew stating my sofa won't be ready for another four weeks. At no point during the past entire nine week period did anyone at this company value my business enough to even notify me of a delay. Not even during the month I attempted to get a update. This company has beautiful pieces however they aren't worth the headache or aggravation. Katie was extremely helpful (and patient with me :)) as I took the time to figure out what I wanted. They made everything custom, and I mean CUSTOM - they will do whatever you want, down to the hardware. The lead time is a little lengthy (8-12 weeks) but WORTH THE WAIT. I ended up saving a ton of money compared to retail prices and the finished product is gorgeous and high quality. It is a shame that they appear to offer modern/ trendy/chic furniture because the designs are hip but they THE worst furniture company ever! We ordered a piece of furniture last July. Guess what? They delivered it 4 months late AND the wrong item! the invoice couldn't have been more clearer with directions on what we wanted custom built. So while they now have to build an entirely new piece, we held on to the wrong one as a loaner. Come January 2017, we get a lovely surprise from the warehouse in Cali with a picture for approval of the new piece. I kid you NOT they once again build the WRONG piece of furniture. The colors/ patterns were completely off, not even close. We go back and forth through tons of phone calls and emails until they tell us to give them one last shot. They will build ANOTHER piece and if we don't like it they would agree to a refund. Well, here we are in March and they send the picture of the 3rd piece (a credenza) and yet again they could not build it to our specifications. They have ZERO customer service; getting answers is like pulling teeth and you (the customer) have to constantly follow up! absolutely REDICULOUS! I would NEVER buy anything from this company again. They shouldn't advertise something and say they can build custom pieces when they cannot. That is false advertising! Now we've wasted 7 months on an order and have to start this process all over again! THE ABSOLUTE WORST! There were a couple of delivery issues for sure but now I have my couch and people love it. No correspondence, no email, etc. I used the email address noted on the invoice I received when I purchased the items and it came back as undeliverable. I found another email address after going online today and this went through. Had an immediate reply that my items would be shipped out today. My order clearly was overlooked. I am not an architect or a contractor, or an interior designer, I am just a person who wanted Lucite legs to spruce up a chair. I am hopeful the legs I will receive are unbroken and in good shape. This was the worst experience I have ever had buying anything. I ordered two sofas online on March 20, 2015, and the order went into production on March 25, 2015. To date, my sofas still have not been delivered, and will not be delivered until mid-July. The website clearly states 6 to 8 weeks for production plus 7 days for delivery. If this is not true, then why not change your website? If you don't have it together, then why not state the truth that it will take a minimum of 3 months plus another 3 weeks for delivery if you are ordering outside of LA. I made over 10 phone calls and emails to them. The owner still has not returned my phone calls or emails. On top of it, I have had to follow up with the overpriced delivery company they contracted to ensure I actually receive my sofas. And, they are no walk in the park either.
