We are Councell Craftsmen. We've been In business since 2005 and offer general remodeling and renovation services. Quality, professional, and an eye for detail are just some of the qualities that sets us apart from other services. 

Councell Craftsmen's beginnings are rooted in a passion for the craft. Owner, Danny Councell, always enjoyed working with his hands since his youth. He studied various areas of construction such as plumbing, electrical work, framing, finish carpentry, woodworking, furniture making, tiling, kitchen and bathroom renovation, and roofing – basically from the foundation of the house down to the details, Danny had an interest in understanding it all.

In 2005, Danny's passion and hobby phased into a successful small business, founded on quality and craftsmanship.

Councell Craftsmen aspires to provide quality and detail oriented work for each client's individualized needs. We approach each job with an enthusiastic perspective to create masterful works of practical beauty, combining function, design, and innovative techniques into the finished result. From additions to decks, to custom-built entertainment centers, we not only provide the standard of quality that sets our work apart from many tradesmen, but as artists, we enjoy opportunities to utilize alternatives to normal materials.

It is the aim of Councell Craftsmen to achieve goals within your budget, providing competitive service with a personal level of communication you may not find in larger operations. We value an efficient work environment and adhere to details such as immaculate site clean-up after each day on the job. We also take into consideration the environment of the work site and aim as much as possible not to impact your day-to-day operations as the project is ongoing.

Ran into some issues with the front and back porch roofs leaking and they worked until the problem was solved and a good portion of it was not even their issue.  They even helped with a few extra things that were not in the original scope of work.  Showed up when they said they would.  We are very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them. > I have hired Mr. Council on two occasions.  Both times I was absolutely satisfied with the work he did.  My house is very old and crooked.  He put in a back door, having to completely re-frame out the door and threshold so that it would be square.  He also built a cabinet for a murphy bed mechanism I installed - again, dealing with the fact that the floor and ceiling were not parallel and the walls aren't plumb.  He's about twice as expensive as many out there; but I find his work and expertise are absolutely worth it.
