I just bought my first condo. It's got a small bedroom and I would like to use the space as efficiently as possible, starting with the placement of the bed. Right now, the bed is on the floor, but I'm in the process of looking for a frame/headboard. Should I keep the bed where it is or move it under the window? Should I put the dresser in its place or up against the angled wall where the large picture frame is? Any and all advice appreciated. A: I think it would look great under the window! My current home has stainless steel appliances. I know they're all the rage but having lived with them for three years, I've confirmed that I don't like them. I like white, and I'm putting white in the 'new' house against a good friend's advice. We're putting in hardwood floors, granite countertops, and painting the cabinets white (of course). My question/dilemma, is it ok to to have a stainless steel sink if you're buying white appliances? A: Yes, stainless steel sinks with white appliances are completely fine!
