Some assembly required is an understatement but all pieces fit as designed and instruction drawings were easy to follow. The workmanship on this piece of furniture is excellent. Is this a tile? Looks great, well done. A: The client choose brick for the walls and ceiling. Of course the walls are sealed and insulated behind the brick. It is an amazing wine cellar. Thank you **Q: Draining and rear of cooling unit.** *(in Photo Questions)* Where did you locate the drainage and the electrical outlet for the unit? Do you have a picture of the outside of wine cellar showing the back of the cooling unit? Thank youl A: Ed. Thanks for contacting Coastal Custom Wine Cellars. The photo is of a self contained cooling unit by WhisperKOOL. You are looking at the back of the system located inside the wine cellar. The front side looks much the same on this model. 110V electrical outlet is to the left of the cooling unit and the drain line was not needed for this particular install. Call me at 949-355-4376 for more details and photos of a cooling unit that would be appropriate for your enclosure. **Q: Love this cellar! How did you seal the door, and what kind of glass?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: The glass wall and entry is 1/2" tempered glass. The doors are sealed with a clear poly carbonate material to ensure the enclosure remains as air tight as possible. **Q: very unique- great look. However, I'd like to know if having a wet bar in the family room is even in style. Should I consider tearing it down and moving it in the kitchen or continue with the update? Will it have an impact from a home resale perspective? A: With regard to whether it is in style or will add to resale value. I'm probably a little biased to be fair but the trend I see is that adding a wine room or a wine cellar to a home is very the up and coming style and something that can really make a home stand out from others. Having a wet bar then in the wine cellar makes a lot of sense. Also consider that a wine cellar can be created in a surprisingly small space.
