The quartz specification related to that mainly is pertaining to a fireplace situation. On fireplace surrounds you will sometimes see the quartz yellow from heat. It's typically not an issue though. Your stovetop will be far enough away that the heat will not directly roll up on the material. Obviously, in our opinion, the best bet is to use a natural stone in this situation but you can use quartz. Let us know if you have any other questions or if we can help you with your project! Since we only do countertops, I am not sure what shade of white this particular client used but I would start with either getting a sample of the quartz or cabinet colors and matching seeing what they look like in lighting in your kitchen as well! **Q: kitchen Faucet and Sink Question** *(in Photo Questions)* Stunning home and kitchen! I’m currently installing MSI Calcatta Laza in our kitchen remodel. I’m interested in the beautiful kitchen faucet (name, brand etc). Also, I’m going back and forth with which kind of sink (stainless vs granite/quartz), and which color if granite. I like a clean modern style, with transitional leanings. Our existing cabinets are brown wood. A farmhouse/apron sink or a white enamel sink is out per my husbands preferences. Love to hear ideas, see pictures. Thanks! A: Hello Christine, this client got their faucet and sink from a different distributor, we did the countertops and full-height backsplash. I can ask them where they got them and let you know! We can work with any sink or faucet you don't have to get the sink from us. Are you doing your MSI Laza with us? We have both the stainless steel option and granite composite. Both are great options as far as durability & stain/scratch resistance. It truly just comes down to what look you are going for! The stainless steel of course only comes in that color option whereas the others come in several different color options. We see both the stainless & granite composite done all the time with Laza.
