While we were living in Atlanta during the construction process, he kept in touch every step of the way and provided pictures of the progress. We found him to be professional, thoughtful, honest, creative, and well priced. As an interior designer, I work with builders on a regular basis, and he is in my opinion an exceptional one. > We had one small issue with squeaky floors about six months after the work was done, and he fixed them immediately. The initial project plan was to update the finishes by eliminating built-ins, changing out all light fixtures, hardware, plumbing, bathroom mirrors,and kitchen island countertop. As we moved forward - the project expanded and we ended up redoing hardwood floors, changing carpeted stairs to hardwood, removing the older stone fireplace and redesigning and repositioning it with a new one. Also, removed all of the old backsplashes and kitchen counters and replaced with new Silestone. > Todd has a great vision - it's difficult to take a very traditional home that had a "Tuscan" feel and transition it to a more updated look. He knows how to do this by incorporating natural and industrial elements into the design - updating without tearing down. Todd was great to work with - calm and thoughtful throughout. If so, how and what is the color? A: That is charcoal colored corrugated metal roofing material. **Q: Counter** *(in Photo Questions)* Is that 3cm or 2cm thick countertops? A: That is a 3cm countertop **Q: Please provide source for floating shelves mounting hardware?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Everything is custom made. Shelf brackets made at a Sheetmetal shop. They are l-shaped 1/4" steel brackets. The Sheetrock is cut out so that steel brackets can be attached to the studs. Then the cutout is plastered over. The shelves are made in two pieces (top and bottom so the shelf sandwiches the bracket. A nosing is added to the face to hide the seam of the two pieces of shelf coming together. Hope that makes sense **Q: Fireplace Materials** *(in Photo Questions)* What materials used on facade of fireplace? All wood or combination of wood and metal? A: This was an old house that we mostly gutted, but left the original wood around the fireplace. We painted the wood grey and then did a black glaze over to give it an aged look.
