> Of the many things I could say, none of which are of any compliments to Garbett, let's just say that all, but maybe two or three, of our interior doors were installed backwards.  No biggie, just needs to be fixed, EXCEPT, "the replacement doors are here and waiting to be painted" as of November 2021.  We moved into the house in November 2021.  It is now May 2023, and we still do not have correctly installed doors. To be clear, the issue isn't with the doors.  It is Garbett's inability to deliver what they promise of "ensuring a timely response to warranty concerns."  I find it embarrassing to see Garbett so proudly say they are among the most admired names in the industry.  They certainly do not deliver a superior product, and they certainly do not deliver outstanding customer service during the sale, throughout construction, and through the warranty period.  Patience can only go so far until it results in a public 1-star review. It's the priniciple- Garbett has none.

> Just don't. They don't care if their houses being built nicely, only "fast" so they can lure your money in. You will regret buying their houses then come with all the eye sours which will cost you thousands to fix. Their warranty is also a joke, they are obviously overwhelmed since they can't build houses good enough then extending their "building" process when you move in. It is unimaginable to have to endure their incompetency by living in a house we paid with our hard earned money with such a 3rd grade builder.

> I cannot recommend Garbett Homes to anyone. The pace to keep up with demand which was set by a tough Utah housing market during the pandemic left a lot to be desired with the finished product. The building process took several months longer than initially estimated, which I had complete patience and understanding for due to the state of the housing market. However, with as long of a delay as it was, I would expect to receive keys to a house that felt 100% complete. This was not the case.

> The quality is laughable. Fit and finish throughout the home was a complete oversight. And the list of things that I've had to bring back to Garbett to be fixed 'under warranty', only for it to take months for any real action to be taken, is absurd - not to mention some of those items have been a hazard to my family (multiple kitchen drawers falling completely off track when extended, a hot water system that will initially send scalding hot water for the first 3-4 minutes of being turned on).

> Turning over an incomplete house is one thing. Not responding to these complaints with a sense of urgency is another. To me this either says that there's a mountain of other warranty work they're dealing with, which supports my own claim that these houses are being rushed and it's showing in the build quality; or it says that Garbett's only mission is to churn out and close on these homes as quickly as possible. Neither of these options makes me feel good about the home that I've bought and I have not recommended them to anyone who has asked for my take on any of the neighborhoods.

> When we initially built with Garbett we were excited to get in the house. Since then they've just been a bit nightmareish to deal with honestly. I would not advise anyone build with Garbett as their process is just not close to what you'd find with other builders, they definitely don't put customers first, and it's apparent they don't care about their reputation. I never write bad reviews because I believe in supporting local businesses, but I've just had such a bad experience I can't not say something.

> I had the opportunity to work with Garbett Homes designing the model home for their Englefield Heights Community in West Jordan and another model home in Daybreak's Creekside Village. They were wonderful to work with and very professional from start to finish. They were clear with their expectations and always answered my questions in a timely manner.
