I needed some idea what the cost of the renovation would be and an assessment of the structure itself. I wanted be sure that the cost of the purchase plus the renovation would not exceed the approximate market value. Eric and I met at the site and he prepared a thorough "budget estimate" which enabled me to make the decision to proceed with the purchase. Eric did this with the knowledge that we were not at the formal bid or proposal phase of the project. That is actually in progress as I write this review. In fact, the job was done a few weeks ahead of schedule. The subs were there EVERY day in the winter, working in unpleasant conditions just to complete the foundation of the new square footage. The project started right after we received about 2 feet of snow, and it was SO cold outside. Yet the subs were there everyday!! Sterling has lengthy experience, and you could tell when every next step of each job at our home was timed so well. No surprises. We even managed to live in our home during all the upheaval.
