**Q: Compact Sectional/Modular Sofa?** *(in Furniture)*

Hi there,

Can someone suggest a couple options for a compact sectional or modular sofa? Many of the sofas we've looked at have larger dimensions than what we want. We have a space limitation with one of the walls being only 81" wide, and we don't want the sofa to extend beyond that wall. We'd like to place the sofa aligning with the yellow and green lines below, and would like to avoid a chaise if possible.

**Q: Deep Sofas in Small Space Help** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We have a smaller sitting room off the kitchen (14'2" x 13'3"). We end spending a lot of time in this room even though it's smaller so I want comfy coaches for our family. The only way to work the space is to have 2 couches facing each other. I love the Kipton sofa from Arhaus. I'd like to update our 2 different sofas to 2 matching Kipton sofas. At the showroom we all really liked the deep sofa (44"). I'm concerned they may look odd in a smaller space yet can't get over how comfortable they are.

A: Look into Burrow, Bludot, Joybird, or Castlery, they have some pretty deep small couches. Ifound this thread to be quite useful.

**Q: Pottery Barn vs. Room & Board sectional reviews?** *(in Furniture)*

Hi there,
I’m looking to replace our sofa and would like a sectional that is well-made and will stand up to having two kids and a dog. We treat our furniture well, don’t eat too much on the couch and our dog is just lazy and sleeps. I would like to find a sectional for our living room that is made well and lasts long. 
I have read some great reviews about Pottery Barn sectionals, and some that or not. I don’t want to spend $6-8k on something that’s lasts decades, but a nice couch that’s stylish and comfortable for the next 5-8 years without needing to be reupholstered. 
I like that slipcovers can be washed, and open to upholstered options too. I’ve read the reviews about certain PB fabrics pilling (twill, etc.) and curious if anyone has experience with Everyday Linen? 
What sectional do you have experience with that could help me decide?

HOw do I choose a good manufacturer

A: Look into buying a custom made sofa from What A Room, much higher quality than big box stores as they have 2.5 lb densisty seat cushions which apparently can last over a decade. So you will see much less sagging and wear and tear of your cushions over the years. Other companies like Crate & Barrel and Room & Board only uses 1.8-2.0 lb densisty seat cushion as it is much cheaper. Also What A Room allows you to customize a lot like their fabric, cushion firmness, size, anything really.

**Q: Restoration Hardware - Cloud Modular Sectional review?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Has anyone purchased the Cloud Modular Sectional from RH and have any comments? No doubt expensive, interested to hear how it holds up with the foam core wrapped in down and goose feathers. concerned it might go pretty limp with time and begin to get uncomfortable - perhaps this could be avoided with a more durable material as the cover (eg. army duck as opposed to the belgian linen), any and all thoughts/experience appreciated!
