She came to my house to get a feel for the space and ask me about colors and my vision for the room. I had this wild idea that each floor of my 3 story row home should feel like a different part of our natural world. I asked her if she could make the staircase a smooth transition between the blue sea on the bottom floor to the green earth on the second. (Sky was third floor). Her work is absolutely beautiful! I could not have imagined a more perfect design for the feeling I had in mind. It's functional artwork that sets the tone for the living room and is the first thing that greets me when I get home from work and open the front door. Since then, I have also hired Practical Sanctuary to create a design for a hut housing my rain barrel in the back yard.
