Generation Development (GenDev) is an urban residential development infill company specializing in new construction. 

We're a family-owned business spanning two generations of builders, designers, and visionaries. Our emphasis is delivering thoughtful design to urban environments; our specialty is developing condominium, townhome, and single-family homes in Denver and its surrounding neighborhoods. With our conservative approach to property acquisition and our respect for Denver’s distinctive charm, we create projects that embrace the fabric of the neighborhoods and have lasting value for generations to come.

Generation Development currently holds and is continuing to acquire real estate opportunities in the Denver Northwest neighborhoods.

Most recently, we completed and sold out the LoHi Flats, a nine-unit condominium building in the Lower Highland area. This building consists of four 1-bedroom units and five 2-bedroom units.

In all of our projects, special attention is made to create large-volume living spaces with main-floor, outdoor areas and open-roof top decks.

> Frustrating and disappointing process working with Generation Development and Slifer, Smith, and Frampton on the purchase of a condo at the Arbory. I went under contract for a condo at the Arbory in summer 2022. During this time, the developer and sales team communicated that closings would happen in September / October 2022 and delays would be unlikely. However, since this time, closings keep getting pushed back month by month and are now 7 months + delayed without a set close date even at this point. Communications are poor, progress updates are not transparent, and there is a clear lack of accountability. My impression at this point is that the developers and sales team are dishonest in their representations of timelines in order to sell more units and mislead buyers. Buyers at the Arbory, including myself, have now incurred tens of thousands of dollars of additional lending fees due to delays in closing, which the seller is unwilling to assist with. Would be highly cautious if deciding to go under contract the the Arbory or other developments through Generation Development due to their business practices.
