> Macie listened to our needs and style preferences and picked out several amazingly beautiful and cohesive colors for our walls to make our new home feel like our own.  She even took our floorplans and gave some suggestions of where to place furniture, and what types of new furniture/rugs would help fill it out.  And she did all that in a very short timeframe, coordinating with the painter and floorer to avoid delays in our move-in date.

> I hired MJI last year to remodel my kitchen, two bathrooms, and my downstairs floors.  When she came into my house to do a walkthrough, she evaluated everything about my house, inside and out, that she thought should change.  That in and of itself is fine and I told her that we could look at doing those things after my original ask was complete.  Unfortunately, she focused almost exclusively on the things that I did not ask for and recommended things like painting my living room walls black.  After three months and several thousand dollars I still did not have an estimate for my original ask so I was left with no choice but to terminate her services.

> At no time did Macy show any concern for my repeated attempts to bring her back from her scope creep (tsunami!) nor for the overall cost of the project.  She later admitted to me that her business model is based on charging as many planning hours as possible, which means that it is in her best interest to drag things out as long as possible.
