> My wife and I hired Brighton Contractors to perform a complete renovation of a loft in Soho.  Brighton and its owner, Shuming Li, were recommended to me by a close friend who does real estate development in lower Manhattan.  I was told that Brighton would not change order me to death.  I was told that their work would be high quality.  I was told that they would finish the job on time.  My friend said, "trust me…this is the guy you want to do your renovation."

> Now I'm going to tell you what happened.  Shuming and and I met.  We discussed what we wanted done.  He gave me a price competitive proposal, and he promised that he wouldn't give me change orders.  He also told me that he would get the project done in 5 1/2 months.  He also told me that he takes tremendous pride in the quality of his work.

> In the past 5 1/2 months, I've gotten to know Shuming and the Brighton team.  They are finishing the job as promised and on time. I didn't see a lot of change orders.  On the few occasions where I needed something re-done or changed, they did it immediately. They are passionate about quality.
