### Typical Job Cost

$2,000 - 7,500

The average cost of our jobs varies very widely. The lower end of the price range given would be for a very rustic small retaining wall using cost effective materials (functional). The higher end of the price ranger would be to build a retaining wall using palletized stone with tight gaps (aesthetic and functional). Both of these wall being 100 square feet in size.

## Selected projects

- [Segmented Concrete Block Retaining Wall](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/segmented-concrete-block-retaining-wall-pj-vj~6133471)
  - Location: New Hampton, NH
  - Photos: 3
  - Description: This wall was constructed to replace a failed timber wall. While at it we installed granite steps and Techo Bloc Mista Random pavers to create access to the yard from the driveway. The entire installation is permeable!
- [Rustic Patio](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/rustic-patio-pj-vj~6133474)
  - Location: Meredith, NH
  - Photos: 2
  - Description: Our client had purchased this lake front property because she fell in love with its rustic "camp on the lake" feel. To keep up with the rustic feeling of the property we create this patio area using large slabs of weathered fieldstone installed in a stepping stone fashion. All by hand as there was no machine access!
- [Complete Landscape Installation](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/complete-landscape-installation-pj-vj~6133466)
  - Location: Campton, NH
  - Photos: 7
  - Description: This was a new construction that needed some final touches to bring it all together. We installed a small patio and fire pit with seating area tied together by irregular bluestone stepping stones. The entry way required us to use some of our specialty equipment and fine operating skills to install a custom cut set of granite steps.
- [Complete Landscape Installation](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/complete-landscape-installation-pj-vj~6133015)
  - Location: Thornton, NH
  - Photos: 6
  - Description: This was a new construction that needed a complete landscape installation. We installed 2 patios and a walkway using Techo Bloc Mista Random pavers. All of which were permeable. We tied these together using stepping stones and created a rustic fire pit to enjoy on those clear summer nights! To finish the project off we installed a lawn completely surrounding the home, along with mulch flower beds for future plantings to ad some color.

  - Location: Moultonborough, New Hampshire
  - Photos: 6
  - Description: This project was unique being that it was not on an island but still required the use of a barge to get material to the site. We used the existing ledge as a backdrop for a raised permeable patio built using irregular bluestone and new England wall stone. The stairs were created using large slabs of bluestone shaped on site.

  - Location: Campton, NH

  - Location: Belmont, NH
  - Photos: 2

- [Permeable Patio](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/permeable-patio-pj-vj~6134009)
  - Location: Center Harbor, NH
  - Photos: 7
  - Description: This patio was installed at a bed and breakfast that was having severe water issues. The building was constructed in the 1800's and was sitting on a dry stack stone foundation which was beginning to show signs of fatigue. The yard was a steep hill directing water towards the side of the building with nowhere else to go. To alleviate the problem we installed a permeable patio over a series of drainage pipes leading to a large dry well elsewhere on the property complete with an exit drain should t…

  - Description: For this project we excavated the hillside to expose the natural ledge and make it apart of the landscape. We also built a machine set boulder wall using the stone from the site to create a flat planting area. Approximately 5,000 square feet of sod and 2,000 square feet of blueberry sod were installed to instantly bring this lawn to life.

  - Location: Plymouth, NH
  - Photos: 5
