## Community Q&A

**Q: What  is name and mfr of countertop.** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: it is quartzite.  Our local countertop manufacturer made it.

**Q: Do you know the grade of maple on the floors?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: They are a long (mostly 12' and 8' lengths) plank floor.  It is finished in place.

**Q: what was the mfgr name and color name of the countertop? Quartz?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Alpina White Quartz from Silestone

**Q: How did you paint the galvsnized railing with success?** *(in Photo Questions)*

We want to do this in our new house and have been getting conflicting advice about how to paint galvanized railing.  I really don't want to have to deal with peeling paint so I was wondering if you would share your method?

A: It is a custom cabinet to match the vanity (also a custom piece).  Simple modern lines with a  painted Lacquer finish

A: It is approx. 12'-6"
