It is beautiful and added nice drama in the 100+ year old Historic property. **Q: Chandelier** *(in Photo Questions)* Can you tell me where you found the chandelier? A: Hi - I adore this piece. It came from a flea market in France. I hauled it back from Amsterdam where I lived for many years. I like to use big statement pieces. **Q: Did you apply any finish to the wallpaper to protect it? But if it were in a heavy traffic area (this was to the 3rd floor living space), you might want to consider a wallpaper with a finish. I loved how it turned out though, a little pop of personality on an otherwise average staircase. **Q: where is the glass table from (left of the photo)** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Following his apprenticeship with the legendary Constantin Brancusi, sculptor Isamu Noguchi began to experiment in environmental design, theatrical sets – he was the only designer that choreographer Martha Graham would work with – and, eventually, product design. He created his first furniture prototypes for Herman Miller in 1942 and went on to work with companies such as Steuben and Zenith. The Noguchi Table (1948) conceals nothing, revealing everything about the nature of simplicity. Two smoothly shaped pieces of solid wood interlock to form a tripod that supports a thick slab of transparent glass. The base is available in black, walnut, natural cherry and white ash, the latter of which is finished with a process that arrests the wood in its freshly cut state, resulting in a creamy white color that will not turn yellow over time. This is the authentic Noguchi Table by Herman Miller. It is sold many places - but I bought at DWR. This table is amazing and I have recommended it to clients who appreciate great design. It is a classic. **Q: Love the chairs!!! Are they swivel? where were they purchased?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Great observation and yes they are swivel. I think swivels are such a wonderful thing for living rooms or spaces where there is a lot to see. These chairs are from Bedford Brown - a wonderful interior shop in Portland, OR.
