She helped not only with setting up furniture and decor, but also helped to pick out paint and carpet colors, she made recommendations for upgrades (such as painting the kitchen cabinets) that would have a big impact on the overall appearance of the condo and would also fit within our budget. We put the condo on the market around noon on Friday and had a full price offer that afternoon. I know that the condo looked fantastic thanks to Miller's help and this helped sell the condo so quickly. That never quite happened which was crucial at the time. I did find someone else but i didn't appreciate being left with nothing of use for $250. It was my understanding that you wanted a consultation to get your home market-ready - making it as attractive, inviting, and move-in ready as possible. In addition, you had a couple of items that you wanted to dispose of. Here’s what we did: > > 1\. We spent 2 hours in consultation at your home, discussing repairs, updates, and what needed to be done to stage your home to appeal to the broadest market of potential buyers. > > 2\. Then we discussed the piece of art and wardrobe (in need of repair) that you wanted to sell. While at your home, I contacted (by phone) an estate vendor who works in an art gallery. I sent pictures of the art and she researched outlets for it, responding with what she thought was the best fit, a local auction house that deals in both art and antiques. Additionally, I researched the artist later. In the report, I provided the information on the auction house and the name of a gallery that carries the artist's work. > > 3\. That day and in the report, I provided contact information for 6 vendors, the phone numbers for whom I verified. > > 4\. Four business days after our meeting (after a long holiday weekend), I left a voice message on your phone and received no response. > > 5\. I followed up with a written report (sent via email), documenting the recommendations for repairs and staging, the outlets for the art and wardrobe, local consignment companies, links to websites where you could purchase items for updates should you choose to do so, and the names of vendor contacts again. > > 6\. I offered (both verbally and in writing) to return -- at no additional charge -- to help you arrange furniture and do the final touches to make your home photo- and market-ready. > > As a small business person, my goal is to surpass expectations. I'm truly sorry we weren't able to get on the same page about your needs, what I could do to help you, and what you needed to do. The door is open if I can help in anyway now. We worked together to remodel an 11,000 sf office building in Asheville and she was terrific to work with and very responsive to our needs and our budget.
