We spent a good 12+ months researching online and in person as to which windows and installer to use. We settled on Total Home KC at the recommendation of others and other contractors who use them, and we also settled on Marvin Integrity windows (fiberglass exterior, real wood interior). We have casement windows and they are not cheap, or easy to replace. We had 33 total panes of glass replaced - 17 windows out of 19 in the house - all complete frame replacements inside and out (no insert replacements -forget that). So it was a HUGE project financially for us, so we didn't take it lightly. We were very apprehensive. Bottom line - Total Home KC is HANDS DOWN the best window installers and Marvin Integrity, with the real wood interiors for a top-end look, and fiberglass exterior for lifetime maintenance-free, was perfect. Jake Matthew, Total Home KC's Window guy, is the best in the business - up front, easy to talk to, knows the window replacement business, honest, responsive, and trustworthy. I would love to go have a beer with the guy, he's that nice. Pat Strand, the owner, is also top-shelf, and I'd recommend him and his company to ANYONE for ANY home remodeling. The window installers - Mirek and Antonio - are the ONLY 2 installers Total Home uses, and they've been with TH for like 17 yrs now - they work hard, they are perfectionists, they clean up every day, and they did a 200% perfect job for us with installs, framing, brick molding, caulking, sealing, cleaning, and interior drywall work where needed. The finishers - Javier and Jorge - did an incredible job staining the inside to match all the other oak wood trim in the house, and matched the paint for all interior and exterior walls and trim. Top to bottom - Total Home KC is by far the best home remodeler we've ever worked with (and we've used Jericho and others as well, all very good too). This porcelain tile is made to resemble vein-cut travertine and it's beauty is found in it's patterning.
