She is a wonderful designer who has a knack for understanding her clients needs and made suggestions that really took our project to the next level. A consummate professional, Laura frequently ran interference between vendors and contractors, working on our behalf to make sure the results were what we envisioned. I have worked with several designers over the past 10 years and I found her to be one of the best. She has excellent taste and is a great listener. Unlike many designers which push their taste on you, she listens to your likes and dislikes and puts your style first. She is open minded, flexible and very professional, always on time or calls if running late. She has one of the best presentation styles I have experienced. When presenting ideas she uses a board with all the fabric & trim selections as well as pictures of furniture pieces. This presentation board really gives you an idea of what you are getting and room set-up. I found it to be fantastic as I am a visual person and need this format to really understand what the end product will look like. Laura also has accumulated a great support staff with people in all aspects of the decorating business. Whether you need drapes made, furniture recovered and repaired or a carpet installed, she has it all. Her level of coordination throughout the job made is a most pleasurable experience. Also, Laura is very upfront with pricing and is cognizant of working within a budget.
