We were very interested in the contemporary look they offer, that can be difficult to find at places like your local cabinet/kitchen showroom or Home Depot and Lowe's, where styles are more commonly traditional. We looked at Ikea cabinets because the price is compelling and they offer a high-gloss finish that we love, but ultimately we were concerned about how well they would hold up over time. Your German Kitchen has beautiful cabinets with a range of finishes, including high-gloss in thermofoil and lacquer. The selection of drawer hardware and accessories is wonderful. They also have glass fronts and backplashes that allow you to do some eye-popping things with color and images. > > The staff met with us at our convenience (including staying late on a Friday) and generated a couple of thoughtful designs based on photos and drawings we provided.
