**Q: brand of stain/color of cabinets** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me what color the cabinets are?

A: Hi Geoff,  
I am so sorry that I'm just getting back to you.  I don't remember the color of the cabinets, it was done in 2013.  The brand was Shenandoah from Lowes.  I doubt that they would still be available, but you might check with Lowes and see if they can find a color name. I did not purchase the cabinets, the client did.  They turned out great in the end, but the quality was not up to par in my  opinion,  I tried to talk him into custom cabinets and the quotes were very similar in price. We had some issues with damage on the cabinets, but it was resolved. Good luck with your project!

**Q: Backsplash Question** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We are really struggling on where to stop the backsplash with our hood. 

I have attached a picture of our drawings as well so you can see better, but there is a space between the cabinets and hood, so I think it looks strange to stop it under the hood. Since our cabinets do not touch the ceiling, we can't really extend to the ceiling either.

Thoughts on what would look best? And not like a second thought?

A: It all boils down to your preference. I have seen it all these ways. Obviously, there is no right or wrong way, just whatever you think looks best.

I would like to have the details to purchase this flooring. Thank you very much.

A: Hi! Thank you for your interest.  The floor is  Crossville tile, Moonstruck Juno AV301. It's a 12" x 24" honed porcelain tile that looks like stone. If you need more info, I will have to call the tile store to find out. Good luck!
