> From the first e-mail to meeting for a quote and all subsequent meetings thereafter, Chris is extremely professional and quite personable. We'd never hired a contractor before and I am not the best judge of what to look for in a contractor when selecting one. However, I chose Chris as he instantly made me feel comfortable with the overall process. As I said, he is quite personable and allowed me to watch the process of him installing my kitchen back splash while explaining the process and answering all questions I had. Upon completion of the project, Chris assured me that if there was any part of the tiles or grouting I was unhappy with to let him know and he would come back.

> We moved into the Metcalfe area 5 years ago and purchased a house that although was on a great lot, needed some updating, which included opening up the living space. For years we were debating about how to do it. Chris took all the guess work away. Not only did he tell us what he was going to do, he helped us design the space, helped us pick out the material and was extremely professional. Getting a contractor that completes in time and within budget is rare, but CH Contracting did both. Thank you for giving us the best room in the house. They took two rooms that were being used sparingly and moved a load bearing wall, installed a steel beam, installed a fireplace, redid the gyroc, updated the lighting, installed flooring and ceramic, and built us a great mantel and some fantastic shelving.

**Q: what type of stone did they use for the fireplace?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The Stone we used was called Stacked Shadow Stone By Realstone Sytems.  Great product and have used it a couple times with great results
