A: In looking at the plan, the width of the room is 12' and the depth from the closest end of the sofa to the window wall is about 16'. It is hard to see, but note that the cabinetry on the right side wall is angled, narrow at the window and widest in the foreground. This was a trick to create a kind of forced perspective in the space which highlighted the view. **Q: Who manufactures the leather couch and what is the leather colour? The "Classic" sofa was designed by Chris Lehrecke, who at the time was represented by Ralph Pucci International. I think Chris now has his own studio in Hudson, NY. Unfortunately, I don't have a record of the leather and materials that were selected for the piece. Hope that still helps! **Q: Beautiful Kitchen. What is the wood and finish?** *(in Photo Questions)* absolutely gorgeous A: Thank you. This was a great project. The wood tone was a very special part of the overall look, but it wasn't easy to achieve. The cabinets are walnut, which was bleached and then lightly whitewashed to get to the desired color. It really made the room. **Q: The wood tone is beautiful. Would you share the stain?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: The wood used on this project was American Walnut. It was then bleached and a custom dye was applied that had a certain amount of white in it. I think that now there are stain products out there that could achieve a similar effect.
