> Cronin &Sons Construction has completed several construction projects for our family. They constructed a safe\\well house, installed\\painted cabinets, completed interior wall framing, installed all window, door frame and ceiling trim, installed bead board walls, concrete floor staining, several door installations, complete metal roofs(2), water collection system, Hardie- plank trim, siding, fascia and soffit (2) buildings, erected fencing (380 feet) and 2 -20 foot gates, installed downspout and gutters for two homes. I am certain I have not listed everything but as you can see it is a wide range and variety. Through it all, Dave and his crew were committed to excellence and meeting our needs. They were professional, friendly, budget minded and at times kept us from making poor construction decisions. It was as if Dave and crew were like family looking out for our best interests, in the long run. We will be using Cronin & Sons for another large project starting Spring 2016 and refer him to others at all opportunities.

> I hired Dave Cronin to replace some wood on the outside of our house. Mr Cronin did a great job. He is very friendly and easy to work with.

 - Description: This was a total makeover. The bedroom received new carpet and a fresh coat of paint: the bathroom was gutted and an additional 600 square feet added to accommodate individual walk-in closets for both husband and wife, and a jacuzzi tub. We removed the old tile in the shower and replaced it with marble and vertical bands of decorative glass tile as well as built in cubbies for toiletries. We installed new custom cabinetry throughout the bathroom and closets with features such as "hidden" cabinet…

## Community Q&A

**Q: simple, classic coffee table-where might I find one like it?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I would try Target online, Joss & Main or Dot and Bo. Ikea.

**Q: Need help with horrible bathroom wall** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I have an odd shape wall in my bathroom that I don't know what to do with. The towel rack is on the far right next to the shower, which makes sense for utility purposes, but then there's a useless ceiling overhang on the left (it's hollow and useless, we checked). This completely throws off the balance of the wall. I don't know if it's better to get one large photo for the middle of the wall, several framed photos spread out across the wall or something that works down the wall to the left of the towel rack. I'm at a loss. This is a rental so I can't paint or remodel. I just want some sanity while stuck here for the next couple years, and want something that will help make this the serene, comfortable bathroom I need. Thanks!

A: This is an idea too...this website is an excellent resource for renters. www.thenester.com/2012/08/no-paint-diamond-wall.html

**Q: our new kitchen with pole!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

we plan to put the round dining table in the middle of the kitchen...
please help the pole look weird

A: I think if you wrapped the post in the same wood as your cabinet fronts or the metal it would blend better. Just an idea

**Q: Should I tear out my newly installed bathroom tiles?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We had our tub and tiles recently replaced. The display looked great in the show room but unfortunately I feel the tiles are overwhelming my tiny bathroom. When choosing the tile I did not realize from the sample that there would be such a variation in each tile. I know it's pricey to start again but I'm not sure what I should do to improve the look

A: I still agree that a sisal or jute rug would go a long way. I think the tile is beautiful, especially for a kids bathroom. But the ultimate goal is that you like it! So after a year if you still don't like it and can spare the cash, go for it! But try to find a contractor who will really help you visualize the new tile. We like to buy half a dozen tiles of 5 or 6 different styles that the customer picks and / or we think they'd like and put them in that room and get a more realistic view. Just some ideas
