The house was completed on schedule in May, 2014. From start to finish the team at Phi exceeded our expectations, and delivered on every promise. Phi offered us a collaborative approach to home building, and throughout the design/build process we experienced their good humor, warmth, patience, and expertise in all aspects of design and construction. Phi cares about nurturing long lasting client relationships, and we saw evidence of this at every turn. On and off site, our project manager smoothly steered our building process, always making time for our comments and questions. We also had regular progress meetings at Phi's Rockport headquarters, and together we reviewed the myriad particulars that are part of the building of a house. Looking back, it seemed as if the house had been so completely thought out before construction began that we wouldn't need a single change order, but the reality of building is such that change orders are nearly inevitable. Phi handled our changes efficiently, with creativity and flexibility. We are still in awe of all the work and attention to detail that our house embodies. We had some of the very best framers, finish carpenters, subs, and woodworkers around, and we believe that they built a house for us that will endure and age gracefully for generations to come, just as honestly and carefully built Maine houses have always done. We couldn't be more pleased, and we highly recommend Phi Home Designs. Bob Talbot met with us initially to set up a plan and then guided us through the entire project. He helped us determine where to focus our efforts and suggested changes that would improve resale value. His guidance was consistent and ongoing. We were kept up to date on costs and timelines, warned when our changes or requests went beyond our stated budget, and assisted in making decisions about both large and small details while also getting us discounts on many items. He remained in constant contact as the project progressed and has been continuing to monitor our satisfaction now that the project is complete. > The personell working the job were all very courteous and respectful of our property and privacy. They were friendly and offered assistance or advice on projects not directly related to this job. My architect, a good friend in NY, was only able to provide schematic drawings so Phi prepared the construction drawings, which were sent to the architect by computer for his review, followed by conference calls to discuss details and resolve any outstanding issues. > > The project team was professional and very competent which was critical since the architect was in Camden only when the house was being framed and then not until the weekend I moved in!! A: @ebkavl This home was built many years ago now, it is possible this fixture is no longer being manufactured. However we used Fogg Lighting in Portland, Maine when choosing these fixtures. Also, with a quick google search I was able to find a similar pendant lights.
