## Community Q&A

**Q: Backsplash - large glass tiles, back painted or colored glass or paint?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I want to add color such as the pool color in the backsplash but I do not like small tiles. My granite is Super White which has many grey veins. It is the show piece and I would like to keep the backsplash simple. I have seen some back painted photos on this site but they seem complicated. Then there is the problem of the three outlets and finding someone that can do the work. I am thinking of painting it in a turquoise/pool color first? Help? What is the simplest and most economical? Can you have a window company install a colored glass? or can your recommend a tile in the color of the pool? I put somethings on the counter in the pool or blue color to see how it would look. Thanks for any ideas.

A: Looks a little too big and flat. . .may want to try something smaller with more shape and cozy up the chaires around it!
