**Q: My bathroom is out of date!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We have a tiny stand up shower enclosure that we constantly hit our elbows as we try to shower, old ugly tiles, old chipping sink cabinets, water guzzeling toilet and CARPET in the bathroom!  Who puts carpet in a bathroom???  Ick.

A: If its one of those one piece units, rip it out (sawzal down the middle and put a new base in and a one piece wall surround. You'll gain a couple of inches On each side in space that adds up to more elbow room (measure and see if its worth it). Thre are companies that do that work (Bath Fitter, ReBath ) and they're expensive but fast.

**Q: Limited space for a laundry room - Need ideas for stackables 70 inches** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We are doing a kitchen and laundry space remodel and would like to put a well functioning stackable washer/dryer combo under the stairs, preferably a front loading washer/dryer, no more that 70 inches tall.  Width and depth for full size equipment is ok but most of these appliances are each 39 inches tall. Most apt sized appliances have poor reviews including Bosch.  Any ideas?

A: Stagger them. You'd have to make your own support for the upper unit. Be nice if upper unit was washer so lifting heavy wet clothes not an issue. Then could creat some interesting storage under the upper and beside the lower. Might be cool..

working on door from breezway into garage. when we remodeled breezway we wallboarded/paneled over door to garage (20 years ago) !! Kitchen,, lets just say lifetime vinyl floor really should\`nt be, ice skate marks won\`t go away. dinning room electrical not working since redid bath upstairs.1st. flr, bath tub drain & tile not working.and guest room wall moldy from gutter leak.kitchen and bath exaughst not working &&&&&

A: So what is your question? Where to start? Fix electrical that stopped working when bathroom remodeled. Might have a fire hazard there. Then, one room at a time.
