> Alex and his team were great to deal with from start to finish.   This being my first build, I was new to the entire process.  Alex was able to take our vision and turn it into reality with ease.  Building locally on the Moon River, I thought it was very important to have a local architect who has experience designing waterfront homes & cottages.  I also wanted something unique and not your traditional Muskoka design.  Alex was able to add a very  fresh modern perspective to the design while also keeping true to the area.  From the initial meeting through to picking up the permits at the township, they were very helpful and answered all questions right away no matter how small they might have been.   Having an office locally was also a deciding factor when choosing them for the project.  They were able to visit the site very quickly and I was able to stop in to their office whenever need be.  Their ability to show me an artistic conception on the computer helped bring the design to life and they were able to provide a realistic picture of what will be built which was great. We were introduced to Alex Foreshew while seeking design options for our new two story boathouse on Lake Joseph. Alex came highly recommended from one of Muskoka's premier custom builders in the Port Carling area. We were intrigued at Foreshew’s portfolio and the level of knowledge Alex and his team had regarding boathouse designs. While Foreshew’s technical capabilities were outstanding (3D renderings, variety of material packages, virtual walk thru’s etc) what really impressed us was the creativity and thoughtfulness that Alex put into his design.  That became even more evident as we put our project out to bid, all the contractors commented on the detail of drawings that made the job easier to quote, this was a big nice to have that we quite frankly weren’t expecting.
