Garden Designs began in 2000 as a residential landscape design company. Michael began his career as a landscaper over twenty five years ago in Berkshire, England. After four years as gardener at the National Trust, Cliveden. Michael graduated from the Berkshire College of Agriculture with a National Certificate in Horticulture. In 1991 Michael moved to California where he continued to study horticulture. In 1999 he graduated from Cal Poly State University with a BS in Ornamental Horticulture with an emphasis on habitat restoration.
