We wanted a "no maintenance" deck this time. Mike gave us a fair bid to rebuild it the way we requested and brought us samples to choose from. The crazy Missouri weather caused a couple delays, but Mike & his crew even came to work on the deck when it was blistery cold outside. Now that's dedication!! All members of his crew were so friendly and I never felt awkward to ask if I had a question. Cleanup after the deck was completed was awesome. I would definitely recommend Legacy Homes and Renovation LLC. Their work is excellent! **★★★★★ — Russell Weaver, June 2020** > Legacy had done several small jobs for us last year. The price and quality of work couldn't be matched so, of course, when another job came up, I called them again. They responded quickly and we scheduled the job. In every instance, Legacy took care to protect our home and cleaned up even the tiniest scrap of paper. > > It's not easy to find a resource you can trust for price, timeliness, and excellent craftsmanship. So glad we found Legacy! Mike, Steve, and Nicole are the best. That's why Legacy will always be the team we call when we need a project completed at our home. **★★★★★ — Lynn, Jan. 2020** > Installed new shower and bathroom floor in a timely and professional manner, within expected budget, and with lovely results. Exactly what I was hoping for... **Comment from Legacy Homes and Renovation LLC:** > So glad to hear it! Let us know if we can help you with anything else. **★★★★★ — HU-326887349, Oct. 2019** > Mike’s team was very efficient, skilled and professional. The project was completed as promised and the work was excellent. The project was completed on budget and in a timely manner. I am very pleased with this company. **Comment from Legacy Homes and Renovation LLC:** > Thank you for your kind words. Please let us know if we can do anything for you in the future. **★★★★★ — Susan Martin, Oct. 2019** > Within days of my request for an estimate of a new deck on my house, I received a prompt and fair response. From the removal of my old deck to the cleanup at the end of the job, I was completely satisfied with everything. Everyone was professional and courteous. My new deck looked great. I was especially impressed with the care that went into building the stairs leading from the deck to the patio below. I highly recommend Legacy to anyone who asks me. **Comment from Legacy Homes and Renovation LLC:** > Glad we could get it done for you and you are happy with the results. Please let us know if we can do anything for you in the future. **★★★★★ — Michael Weatherly, Oct. 2019** > Mike and his team at Legacy Home have been amazing to work with. They are all very professional and clean up at the end of the day like no one was there. We recently used them for a kitchen remodel mainly to demo a couple of walls and open up our space. But they also did plumbing, electrical, backsplash and installed appliances. I am certain they could do just about any type of work you need done in your home. We will definitely use them again for our next project. **Comment from Legacy Homes and Renovation LLC:** > We were very happy to work with you also. Thank you for your review, we really apprecaite it. Please let us know when you need work done in the near future and we will be glad to help you out with that. Take care now. **★★★★★ — Tisha See, July 2013** > It was time to down size so we sold our 3500 sq ft home and bought a 1900 sq ft home. As you imagine it was hard not only to adjust to the smaller size but also to fit the needs of 3 teenage boys and us into a smaller home and still feel like we had are own space. We called Mike with Legacy Home Improvement and the first thing that I liked about Mike was I felt like he was understanding what I wanted and needed. Second, I didn't feel like he was just "telling me what I wanted to hear" if there was something we couldn't do he told us up front. Third, he was VERY mindful of our budget and was very good at keeping us on track. Mike and hi team added a Master Bath and Master Closet to a finished basement and a shower onto one of the 3/4 baths. Now we have 4 bedroom and 4 baths and everyone has their own space. Quick, CLEAN and extremely freindly! > AWESOME job!!!! ## Selected projects - [Room Addition with Front Porch Build](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/room-addition-with-front-porch-build-pj-vj~5918355) - Location: Lathrop, MO - Photos: 34 - [Pergola](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/pergola-pj-vj~5918372) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 7 - [Kitchen Remodels](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/kitchen-remodels-pj-vj~5798441) - Location: Kearney, MO - Photos: 4 - [New Summer Deck](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/new-summer-deck-pj-vj~5907908) - Location: Kearney, MO - Photos: 1 - [Front Porch Build](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/front-porch-build-pj-vj~6038171) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 8 - [New residence](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/new-residence-pj-vj~5939569) - Location: Kearney, MO - Photos: 17 [See all 6 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/general-contractors/legacy-homes-and-renovation-llc-pfvwus-pf~277799683) --- *Source: Houzz professional profile.
