A: It is indeed. **Q: Varigation in the boards** *(in Photo Questions)* Is there a lot of variegation in color between the boards. In some of the pictures, I see minimal differences and others, like this one, there appears to be a lot of difference. Some boards appear to be very light and others dark. Is this the lighting in this particular photo - in the other photos of the same house, there doesn't appear to be as much variegation. Thank you! Please describe how it holds up.** *(in Photo Questions)* My family is rough on floors and particularly scrapes their chair legs when sliding in and out from the table. How does hand scraped Acacia hold up? I believe a satin or matte finish would wear better than a gloss. A: Acacia is known for being a very durable floor and would be a great solution for a family that is rough on floors. The best way to protect any floor from chair leg scratches is to affix felt pads to the bottom of each leg. They can be found at your local hardware store.
