We are very pleased with the final result. Brian Loch worked closely with us and our architect to ensure that the architectural design was implemented in an exacting manner. The project was delayed for several months mainly due to the weather, which we learned is not unusual. We found Brian easy to work with and responsive to our many concerns and calls. His own long-time hands-on experience in the trade enables him to supervise the subcontractors closely and hold them accountable when needed. After a few years living in the house, we uncovered only a few items that Permabuilds needed to come back and address under the warranty program. We were happy with the overall project schedule and how the project progressed. Permabuilds finished the project about 4-6 weeks after our original date, however, we lost about 4 weeks due to inclement weather during the first few months of the project; in addition, we had some issues with the historical review board that governed our renovation. The construction costs that Permabuilds controlled stayed within budget. Overall, we were very pleased with the communication with Permabuilds throughout the project.
