The first house I bought was in Coaldale and they were fantastic to deal with. I've heard horror stories about building homes and was so happy not to experience any issues. So, when I moved away from Coaldale I was worried about building again. Destiny Homes came to my rescue with an RTM home. This home was built in Coaldale and moved to my new location. I had the exact same experience building the RTM home as I did with my site built home. Destiny Homes held my hand and guided me through the entire process. Best of all...there were no surprise bills at the end of either home. I would strongly recommend Destiny Homes to anybody that asks. **★ — HU-556194503, Nov. 2021** > Built our home with Destiny Homes Inc in 2014. Every time it rains or snows water intrudes through windows and leaks down into our walls and floods the basement. Unfortunately the issue was not discovered until shortly after the 5 yr new home warranty had expired. 3rd party inspector and insurance adjuster both determined that the windows were faulty and not assembled or installed properly. Builder only offered to correct it at our cost and refused to stand behind his product and fix the issue. I do not recommend using Destiny Homes Inc. **★ — HU-492898123, Oct. 2021** > We are very unhappy with our Destiny home. When we were ready for move in day we were met at our new home by Rene who would not let us move in as the final draw we signed off on was not recieved in his account yet and he wanted us to wait on moving in until he had it. It was a saturday and we were standing there with the moving trucks wondering what we were going to do as the banks werent open until Monday. Turns out it was an error on his bookkeeping end and we were allowed to move in but the stress of that confrontation on a stressfull day already was uncalled for. There were still things to be finished after we moved in including a bathroom and kitchen sink with leaking plumbing. A pocket door in the guest bath that needed to be hung and lock installed ( 6 years later we still dont have a functioning pocket door) and other odds and ends. The biggest issue however were our windows. We always felt the house was drafty but during a windy rain storm we noticed rain running down our walls. We videoed the concerns which happened on the side of the house facing the wind both upstairs and down and emailed the videos to Rene. At this point we were coming up on the end of our 5 year warranty. Rene was slow to get back to us but after several calls to his office he agreed to send a window guy out to access the situation. Turns out the windows they used on our home were all recalled due to seal fails but no one contacted us about this issue or recall. By the time we found this out our warranty was up and insurance wouldnt help us. Insurance suggested working with the builder. Rene came back with a lawyer suggesting he would replace the windows at half the cost. We have a lot of windows to replace and cant afford that bill. To add insult to injury shortly after our upstairs bathroom shower drain started leaking water into our basement when we showered. We didnt even bother telling Rene and had to fix that damage ourselves. We are now stuck in a cold house we hate hoping Homes on Homes will come save us one day. **★★★★★ — msnew, Feb. 2016** > Destiny Homes built my new home with exceptional quality, support, and guidance throughout the whole process. They spent an entire day guiding us through the process of choosing flooring, lights, etc. After a grueling day, with one last item to choose, their guy stepped up to help guide us through when we were both exhausted and couldn't pick a countertop.
