Ana Stein
After graduating from Washington University with a master’s degree in Architecture, I embarked on a career in architectural design in New York City, where I worked with many award-winning international architectural firms on projects for clients such as Deloitte & Touche, Tiffany & Co., LVMH as well as for private residential clients. In addition to my architectural experience, I have designed custom furniture pieces for the showrooms of major fashion houses including Christian Dior, Guerlain, Givenchy, and Louis Vuitton. 

My Design Philosophy: 
A home should be a reflection of you. The spaces I create are serene and  sophisticated, melding modernism with an organic feel.  I use high and low price points, complementing modern pieces with antiques and mixing clients’ vintage pieces and personal art collections with new elements. The result is a space that is both inspiring and attainable.

> We loved working with Ana.  She gave us a great consultation on our kitchen remodel.  We had a constrained budget; however, Ana was incredibly accommodating to our needs and budget restrictions and gave us great suggestions for cabinet color, countertop material, appliance/fixture sourcing, and furniture (bar stools) selection that integrated perfectly with our desired aesthetic.  We were able to execute her design suggestions easily with her guidance and everything ultimately came in within budget to our delight. The final result is a very clean, modern kitchen that we absolutely love! We were so pleased with her work that we asked her to help us with remodeling our tenants kitchen downstairs. She chose neutral but modern colors and helped us choose countertops that would be durable without compromising style. She has a very good eye for clean, modern spaces that are functional and attractive, and she is good about listening to your requirements and proposing designs that work for your needs. I highly recommend working with her.

> I recently purchased a home and consulted with Ana on the interior design of a few outdated spaces that needed a refresh.  I had seen a much larger project she had done recently and trusted her implicitly.  She truly has impeccable taste and her background in both architecture and design really sets her apart from other interior designers. On my smaller project, she was a great resource from furniture selection, paint colors to lighting and even saved the day on a fireplace remodel that I had started before I engaged her.  Ana is a great listener and quickly grasped the look I was hoping to achieve.  She helped me create a color palette that worked very well with my desired Coastal Beach aesthetic.  The suggestions she made were within my budget and really helped tie everything together.  I'm thrilled with the outcome.  The spaces are light, bright, comfortable and very chic!  I'd gladly work with Ana again and cannot recommend her highly enough.
