> Robbie was a pleasure to work with throughout our kitchen remodel. He has a gentle way about him, paid attention to the details and wanted things done right. He did not try to oversell on materials, in fact, he tried to save us money. He worked well with our designer, Tara Lenney Design in Dallas, and contributed some great suggestions that helped put our project over the top. We were also impressed with the subcontractors he used -- they were careful while working in our home, did a good job cleaning up after they finished and friendly but. . . his two right-hand guys, Ally and Jimmy, were outstanding! As my husband said if we had to have two guys "living with us" for five months, we couldn't have asked for anyone better. They were trustworthy, kind, dependable, conscientious and perfectionists! They took their time in every aspect, they were meticulous measuring and preparing all surfaces whether for paint or stain, appreciative of every kindness we showed them -- we just couldn't say enough about them. They were happy if we were happy. Griffin Design brought our dream to life and we are loving our new space!

> I would highly recommend this company for your next home renovation.

> We spent a lot of time researching before we started our project and we got Robbie from a recommendation on Nextdoor after we had paid another company for design who not only did a bad job but was a struggle getting their design from them. From the bad experience Robbie completely turned things around! At first we hired him to do the design and he worked with us, answering a ton of questions and back and forth before we finally got to a design we were happy with. At that point the builder we had lined up felt the work was more than he could do and Robbie turned into our contractor and we could not be happier with the result. He’s extremely knowledgable about not just the build process but the different materials, where you source things from, making sure you were not paying too much, etc. When there were decisions to be made he would explain the choices in a way that you could understand while giving you the pros and cons of each. We feel he had the right touch of giving us what we wanted but also giving an opinion when we needed one. Our project, like any one, had changes along the way and things you don’t run into until you start the construction. He made sure to raise items quickly and get to a consensus on what we wanted to do. From the plumber to cabinet installer, to painter, to electrician, he brought in people who have been doing this a long time and it was clear they all wanted us to be happy as well. Everyone that has seen our kitchen/family/living room remodel thinks it came out fantastic! With projects you often find yourself after the fact thinking you could have done something different but not this time. His process got us through all of those things before we finished the project. Everything looks great, great quality, great workmanship! Along the way they had to fix some other things we found in the house, but nothing was too much for them to do. When it comes time to do our bathroom, he’s our guy, hands down! If you want your project done right, you should hire Robbie and his team.

> We interviewed several designers and Griffin Design has a unique combination of design aesthetics and construction practicality. They were able to advise the most efficient to build solutions to achieve our design goals. The work was as clean as construction can be while also staying ahead of schedule. We love the result and appreciate all of the extra effort their team gave us while remodeling our kitchen.

**★★★★★ — Melanie Prehoda, Dec. 2023**

> I would highly recommend Griffin Design. Robbie was a delight to work with and his workers were exceptional. Scheduling of the workers was seamless and our kitchen reno went like clockwork. Also, his craftsmen were considerate of us and our property, as clean as possible, and of course skilled. When we redo our bathroom, we definitely will call on Griffin!

 - Description: Pairing 2 different design styles can often be tough, however in designing this on-suite we worked with the homeowners to completely change the layout of their bathroom and closet. In creating a new space we were able to maintain the overall "feel" of the Home while adding an updated, elegant master bath that the homeowner could relax in for hours. All done without sacrificing important closet space. We used the homeowners distressed gray wood tile to seamlessly join the quaint country feel of t…

## Community Q&A

**Q: who manufactures the sink and what size is it** *(in Photo Questions)*

I would like to have details on the sink

A: Unfortunately this project and its bespoke tile floor that we matched from a 1920s sears catalog was about 5 years ago. I believe this exact sink is no longer available, however similar products are available from signature hardware, james martin, kingston brass, american standard and many many more. Try a google search for Chrome Leg Vintage Vanity and check the shopping tab, that should get you in the right direction to match the look. Dont forget to get hardline water lines and splurge on the cross style shut off valves and faucet

**Q: can you give dimensions of this bath/shower room?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I am interested in converting a tub/shower combo into a wet room similar to this. Wondering how much room is necessary?

A: 9' 6"x12' or more would be ideal, but this one was squeezed into 8' 7"x11' 4". Using a free standing tub would help save 6-7" as well.
As shown you want at least 36" for shower, 42" is better. and at least 67" for a drop in tub and deck, 72" is better.
Vanity is shown 84", it could easily be downsized to 72" or 60" if you are limited that way. The main thing is having 8'8"+ of tub/shower wall. Should you have over 9'6" I would add a shower bench and a 3rd output rainhead on a 48"+ shower.

**Q: Flooring** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hello, would you mind sharing details of the flooring type/color? Thank you!

A: Its Montage Oil Finished European Oak Engineered Hardwood, I believe the color is Palma but I'm not positive on that

**Q: measurement** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the measurement of the tub and shower wall to wall?

A: Approx. 102-105"

**Q: How wide is the cabinet with the pull out drawer?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Cabinet width and drawer width??

A: It is a 21"w cabinet with an 8"h pullout.

**Q: What is this tile?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I see blue and tans - is there a name and manufacturer for this arabesque?

A: This mosaic is from the Emser Tile Winter Frost collection. I believe the pattern is called lantern, but you should be able to find it on their website, Emser.com
