Stay away from this guy stand at his unlicensed helpers that have no idea about electrical work. They wired a $40,000 job for commercial building and then when they turn the power on literally none of their work was correct. Nothing worked! Then he had the audacity to try to charge me $8000 for him coming to fix it and blame the insulation guys for his incompetence. **Comment from Powerful Electrical LLC:** > Steve, let’s set the record straight for anyone reading. Our technicians handled everything professionally from start to finish. When Dominion restored power, a few circuits needed to be reconfigured which is completely standard on commercial builds. Within a couple of hours, everything that was supposed to be energized was energized. That’s fast work for any commercial crew, and anyone experienced in construction knows nothing ever comes on “all at once” the moment the utility flips the switch. > > The real issue came from the spray-foam application. Commercial buildings typically get a few inches of coverage. Your installer applied heavy, deep layers that buried every junction box, exit sign rough-in, and emergency light location. That alone created several hours of additional uncovering and troubleshooting — which is exactly why the change order was created. > > Everything remained professional until it came time to address that added labor. That’s when the disrespect toward our technicians started, and that’s when the online hostility and negative reviews began. We’ve seen the coordinated reviews from you and your circle, and we’re documenting all of it. These guys are not knowledgeable or professional. First off, called me at the time I was supposed to meet them on-site to reschedule. I drove to work and home for no reason that day. not even the slightest apology for that. They ran power lines and data drops for us. All data drops were terminated incorrectly so we had to pay a professional to do it the right way. We had to re-run a drop that was spliced and didn't have connection because the wires didn't match on the splice. Next, one of the power lines that was run to a new outlet does not work, I had the outlet replaced but must be something wrong with the line. Lots of ceiling tiles and an hvac duct were destroyed in the process of running the power lines and data lines. Stan said this wasn't their fault and refused to fix. They put a 20amp receptacle on a 30amp line and now we have to have that replaced. All of this has set back our business start date significantly . they were more concerned about getting paid than doing the job properly. We gave them a 12k job that they completed in 1 day and we paid them in materials upfront. Stan called and was demanding the rest of payment before we could inspect the building.
