**Q: Help me choose chairs for this table :)** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I am moving into a new home and the owners are leaving the table and the suspended lamps but not the chairs. These table/chairs are located in the kitchen (see pic). I would prefer that the chairs do not have wood and I am not a fan of the current chairs displayed in the pic. I like modern and contemporary styles and I am stuck finding a cool match for the table.  FYI, the owners are also taking the white couches in the back with them.Thank you for you precious input!

A: This table is pretty neutral and looks like most contemporary chair styles would work with it. However, why try to "make a match". Tell the owners to take the table and start from scratch. Consider this: everything in this space is rectangular (windows, furniture, kitchen island,  pendant light), you might want to try a circular or oval shape table just for a little visual variety.

**Q: what to change  up in this room** *(in Design Dilemma)*

A: There's too much going on in and around your fireplace. All your accessories don't need to be displayed all at once. Its more interesting to rotate your things - it gives a fresh perspective and makes it seem like new. Speaking of rotating - your coffee table should be moved  parallel to the couches. I also agree that your rug is too small. Unless you need the light lose the torch. Don't be afraid of empty walls - but if your are get a couple of plants in varying heights for that wall you could use the color. Or use the stuff you have to make a nice grouping of accessories (vary the heights) on the torch wall.

**Q: Sectional vs existing furniture** *(in Design Dilemma)*

so I thought I would add a picture of the existing room and furniture. I just think lighter leather and a sectional would be better, but would welcome any thoughts.

A: Lose the ottoman. Put it somewhere unobtrusive and bring it out when extra seating is needed or use it as a coffee table - add a tray.. The glass table is visually too light weight and the wrong shape for the furniture. The chairs should not be angled. They should be parallel to the heavy chair opposite (sans ottoman). The throw pillows are too large and stiff. Use a lighter color (mustard, emerald, gold) add fringe. In general the accessories should be in a color other than beige or brown. Consider a ginger jar lamp for the round table between the chairs.

I would live your opinions on my guest toilet please. I am on a really tight budget so I could not make changes other then just adding some window dressing, decor and some art work. Please let me know what you think and if I should change anything decor related please?

Which way straight or brick pattern ???? My customer want me to do what ever I think is nicer.  What do you guys think ?

A: Here's a monkey wrench - why not lay in a diamond pattern?  Or add a few patterned tiles at random to break up the sea of orange. Sorry but not a big fan of the tile, color or size.
