## Community Q&A

**Q: Name of the color** *(in Photo Questions)*

can you give us the name of the wall color.

A: Hi
The walls are not painted. they are Venetian plaster, in a Marmorino finish. The paint we used as the reference color was Benjamin Moore OC-45 (Swiss Coffee).
The plaster made the color a few tones warmer.
Venetian plaster is an investment, but is a beautifully deep and luminous finish, due to the small matrix of marble dust throughout.
If you want to proceed with paint, and want a color that is warmer than OC-45, I recommend Farrow & Ball - Lime White.
Brush out both paint colors (OC-45 & Lime White) on your wall and watch the colors change over the course of a day. They will change a lot. It really is the best way to decide on a final color.
Good luck on you project!
R.

**Q: Love the wood in the kitchen. Is it white oak?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love it because it is beautiful and not white!

A: Hi
You are correct, the wood is white oak, rift cut. It is solid stock, lightly brushed. We tried a few finishes but settled on 'Rubio DC Smoke.' Hope this helps!

**Q: So serene! Can you share what the paint color & countertops are?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I would love to know what warm white you chose for this project as well as what the countertops are.

A: Hi Melinda
Thank you for your kind comment.
The countertop is a limestone called Crema Ella. It is a beautifully clean material, with occasional, small fossil structures. This was a lightly brushed finish.
