> Carrington builds a nice looking house. They get most of it right by the time they get to the completion of the house. The framers are the best in the business. We were happy with most of the process. Unfortunately it's after you have been in the house for a while that we've encountered issues. Exterior doors were never right. The vent free fireplace leaks air into the house like an open door. (They tried twice to fix) the windows are having issues now there is a leak in the basement when the rain comes from the south. The house is 17 years old and some of this is expected, and will need repairs. Just don't call Carl, he is not interested in servicing his older homes he is only interested in large new projects.  His words:  "Unfortunately, the warranty on your home has expired. We are extremely busy and are not taking on any smaller projects. I would recommend contacting a smaller renovation contractor in your area to make those repairs."
> If you're going to build a house every 5-years and move on, build with Carl if not, I wouldn't recommend him.
