We found that, too often, homeowners would have to go to multiple companies and contractors to complete a single kitchen or bathroom project. Our goal is simple: We will provide our customers with the best selection of products available for the kitchen and bath and handle all the details, from the design process to managing the installation. After five years in business and having served over 1,000 customers, we had outgrown our first office / showroom and countertop fabrication shop. We purchased our new building and moved operations there in January 2008. The new facility has allowed us to consolidate our showroom, offices, warehouse, and countertop shop under one roof. Our new showroom, although not yet complete, boasts 2,000 square feet of the latest trends and styles from the best manufacturers in the kitchen and bath industry. This move, along with other adjustments to our company, allows us to provide a nearly seamless process for our customers. Our design specialist will meet with you at your home or in our showroom to discuss your ideas and assist you in the selection process. We will generate drawings of your project to help you visualize how your new kitchen or bath will look. Once we have a work order, our project management team will inspect the jobsite, order all materials, and schedule a time for our installers to do the work. We will oversee all the details of the installation so you don't have to. We ordered kitchen countertops and backsplashes. Upon initial installation, one worker indicated the backsplashes were not loaded on the truck for some reason (unsure why). Later when the backsplashes were installed, two of the three did not match the design in the counter tops. I contacted Jordan (salesman) re: caulking issues and a couple other things to be redone. I voiced my concern that two of the three backsplashes did not match the countertops. The longest backsplash is the one that would be most noticeable entering the kitchen. He came out and reordered the longest backsplash. On March 18th, Ray left a message for me to call to schedule an installation date for the new backsplash. I left 3 messages for Ray with no return call. I called again, spoke with Angie and explained the situation. She gave me a date of April 7th. When the installer arrived, the piece he brought looked worse than the one we had. On April 8th I called, spoke with Sarah and she indicated I needed to speak with Angie. I did not hear back from Angie. On April 9th @ 5:44 PM, Ray called. He stated he had contacted the company and they may have to come out and look at it. I said fine. On May 24, 2021 a guy from Blasius Inc. came out to assess visual color of the backsplash. Of course, he saw nothing wrong with the backsplash. We were told we could drive to Vassar, the location of the backsplash before another piece was cut for approval. Seriously??, all we wanted is the design we picked out at New Design. The salesman (Jordan) or someone else at their business could have taken the sample at their store to Vassar business because it matched perfectly with our countertops and one of the backsplashes. If there were variances in the design pattern, we should have been told that. They are suppose to be the professionals not us. At that point, we could have decided if we wanted to go with that sample or not. There was nothing done and there was no communication from New Design. On July 23, 2021, I called Angie for some type of resolution. She acted as though she didn't know what to say or do. I finally said discount the price. We discussed a discount and she indicated she would get back with me. With no return call, I called her on Aug. 13, 2021. I asked her for the final bill and told her we would be there to pay it. When we got there, Angie's daughter handed me some papers. I told her I wanted to speak with Angie. She stated Angie was not available. I told her I spoke with Angie and she stated she would be there. She went to the back room and Angie came out a few minutes later. I opened the paperwork she had for us and had her write on it what she had verbally told us about the warranty. The paint color on the walls is Sherwin Williams Amazing Grey SW7044. Please let us know if you have any other questions. **Q: Paint color for beachy brick ranch** *(in Design Dilemma)* We live near the beach and plan to paint our brick ranch. We are adding an addition in the back and want to match siding to the paint color. The top left corner picture is our house. The others are inspiration...sand, off white, or blue gray. Our roof is dark gray A: I agree the neither the blue or the gray matches the inspiration.
