Madeen Interior Design Studio is a professional design firm with over 25 years of experience in the Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Southwest, Colorado, areas. We have completed projects in Arizona, California, Canada, and Switzerland. We pride ourselves in being able to communicate successfully with clients in-town, out-of-town – and even those out of the country.

Owned and operated by Carol Madeen, Allied ASID, Madeen Interior Design Studio offers countless options in furniture, fabric, floor coverings, lighting, art and accessories; including products for the kitchen and bath. We work closely with manufacturers and artisans in designing, specifying, and purchasing these items. Not only does this give our clients the advantage of a hassle free buying experience, it allows for customizations that make your project truly unique.

At Madeen Interior Design Studio, we collaborate with architects and contractors from the beginning conceptual phases of a project, to its completion. Through this coordination we make sure that beauty, character, and overall client vision saturate each part of the design process. In addition, our design team has the ability to convey the outcome of a project through sketches, hand renderings, and 3D modeling, making it a piece of cake to craft your dreams into reality.

In recent years our work has been featured in publications such as Western Art & Architecture, Luxe, Old-House Interiors, Colorado Homes, and Log Homes Illustrated.

You can check us out on our website at www.madeeninteriors.com, or come visit us in either our Telluride OR Durango studio. We are excited to meet and work with you!

> My husband and I were fortunate to meet Carol early in her Durango, Co. career. She can see thru walls to re-work lay outs, recommends the best paint colors, styles, rugs, and more. She is easy to work with and is fun! She consulted on my mother in laws home in Durango. We are placing on the market and the realtor stated this was the best remodel he has seen.

  - Description: This "Before & After" entailed renovating a staircase in Telluride, Colorado. Madeen Interior Design selected the wood type, stain color, custom carpet runners, and Artwork for this project. The staircase was originally carpeted and looked outdated and dirty. Upgrading to wood treads and risers ultimately gave the staircase a more contemporary, polished look. We love the natural feel of the wood tone against the vibrant colors of the Custom runners.
